Our Client, leaders in their field are currently looking to recruit an Electronics Technician / Engineer to work at their site near Lancaster

What they are looking for is someone with an interest and knowledge in electronics. You’ll be open to repairing older, legacy equipment as well as working within a team to come up with electronic solutions to existing problems. They are a time served team working within a critical niche industry and you’ll balance time working alone alongside time working with others.

  • Keen eye for detail – with the ability to read technical documentation

  • Potential to repair down to discreet component level
  • Maintain professional attendance, time management and personal appearance
  • Strong written, oral, listening and diagrammatic communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear concepts
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment

Electronics Technician Duties and Responsibilities

  • Repairing and testing customer electronic equipment in accordance with specific procedures
  • Generating repair documentation and maintaining our repairs database
  • Assisting with preparation of technical documentation
  • Recording, analysing and interpreting test data
  • Working with colleagues to assist in designing new systems, circuits and devices or developing existing technology
  • Liaising between customers, suppliers, visitors and colleagues
  • Ensuring safe working, plant safety and company practices are followed
  • Pursuing personal development of relevant skills and knowledge
  • Keeping up to date with industry developments
  • Attending meetings and completing project work onsite (when required)

Working Hours

  • 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday.
  • 8.30 to 3pm Friday
  • Flexible hours within the role can be discussed on an individual basis.
