Peer Networks Scheme.

Peer Networks Programme is a national programme aiming to help SMEs to overcome their business challenges and build a trusted network between the local businesses. Delivered locally by Boost,  It aims at business leaders that want to develop and grow their organisation in the local area.

The service is funded by the Department for Business, Energy and Local Strategy and is set to deliver interactive action learning, trained facilitators, small groups, flexible topic selection and one to one coaching for the local businesses. The programme will connect 35 groups of 11 business leaders in order to connect and solve common business issues.

Peer Networks will run between September 2021 until March 2020 following a successful pilot programme last year.

Successful pilot programme.

Last year’s programme brought a necessary boost to 320 SMEs around the country. It provided  a great opportunity for the organisations to work together, solve common issues and share knowledge as a part of this government funded programme. This followed by many success stories and unexpected twists and turns in certain businesses such as Cronkshaw Farm using goats from her farm to hire on video calls.

Due to the vast success of the programme, the government announced further 26 Peer Network schemes across the country to run between July 2021 and March 2022 including Lancashire.
