Crown Oil Group acquires land in Heysham Business Park
Crown Oil group is a North-West based fuel and lubricant company who just recently announced that they became the first UK supplier to run their entire fleet of oil delivery vehicles on hydrotreated vegetable oil. The firm also committed to reduce its CO2 gas emissions by 90%
Key Location of the Business Park
Heysham Business Park is located approximately 2 miles away from the Heysham Port – a vital link to Anglo-Irish and European Trade. Industrial Park benefits greatly from the excellent transport links provided by nearby M6 motorway and is one of the key industrial developments in northern Lancashire.
Land Acquisition
The Estates Division of Crown Oil group acquired 350.000 sq ft of Heysham Business Park in conjunction with Ignite Asset Management and SCP Investments. The site was acquired from Celtech for an undisclosed sum.
Site Development
The significant development plans will include the refurbishment of existing buildings, updated security measures, new secure storage areas and units and long-term plan for the construction of up to 250.000 sq ft of the B1, B2, and B8 accommodation. Some of the existing buildings might be demolished as a part of a new proposal.
